One of Ireland’s leading housing developers Cairn Homes has recently launched phase 1 of “The Mills”, Castletroy, Limerick. This development includes 63 apartments currently nearing completion, accompanied by another 222 semi-detached homes. The SIG Insulation team along with our technical department worked with various subcontractors to bring this project to fruition.
Over recent years SIG have acted as a key supply partner to Beton Construction for numerous roofing systems on Cairn Homes apartment projects. The arrangement continued on this Castletroy project with SIG supplying over €20k of Ravago XPS. We also worked alongside DC Nevin on the masonry package, supplying €150K of Rockwool Rainscreen Duo, and thereafter we engaged with CBL Construction to successfully win large elements of the SFS package.
This included the supply of Dupont Tyvek StructureGuard, Rockwool SFS Slab, and Kemwell Weatherkem totalling over €100K. The Cairn Homes Castletroy project is a great example of how SIG’s sales & technical teams are working closely with our local branches to help our customers deliver a successful outcome on a build.
